Working Principle
980nm laser is the optimum absorption spectrum of Porphyrin vascular cells. Vascular treatments are possible due to laser absorption by hemoglobin and oxyhemoglobin.Vascular cells absorb the high-energy laser of 980nm wavelength, solidification occurs, and finally dissipated.
980nm diode laser creates a beam of high-intensity light that penetrates deeply into skin tissue, and targets the vascular lesion. Handpiece passes skins and the laser light is absorbed by the blood, causing the vessels to coagulate and be absorbed by the body.The skin which contains more melanin, provides a media with lower laser radiation absorption, allowing the energy to be transferred through the skin to be absorbed by the internal blood vessels. Penetration depth of the 980nm energy in aqueous tissue is 2 -4 mm. Accordingly, the underlying blood vessels can be treated with minimal damage to the skin surface.
